On Friday, Governor Pritzker confirmed that his family violated Illinois’ stay-at-home orders by traveling and staying at their $12 million equestrian estate in Florida and traveling to another one of their homes located in Wisconsin. Governor Pritzker deemed his family traveling to Wisconsin as an “essential” duty to attend to the animals on their “working farm.”

Despite Governor Pritzker previously stating, “I think as a leader you should set a good example for people, you should follow the rules” his family has not followed his stay-at-home orders like the millions of Illinoisans have been doing for weeks. This is just the latest example of the Pritzkers following the rules only when it suits them.
